How long the hardwood needs to acclimate?
Acclimating your wood flooring to your house of business before installation is important to ensure your hardwood does not react improperly once it is in place. This can include buckling, warping, shrinking or swelling, depending on several factors like the humidity and temperature of the space. This process usually takes at least a couple of days, with the opened ends of boxes for air circulation.

What is the timeline for the project?
A remodeling project can take anywhere from over a week to a year or more depending on the size of the project. The steps of a kitchen remodel are similar for many projects but can vary based on the scale of the renovation.
Planning and Design – 1 to 4 weeks
Several steps will take place in this initial stage. Since the homeowner needs to be heavily involved at this point, your personal schedule affects the renovation timeline. The initial design needs to be prepared, meet with potential contractors, choose materials and finishing.
Ordering and Delivery of Materials – 1 to 8 weeks
The time for this stage depends on the type of materials selected for your project. Standard items or in-stock items may be ordered and delivered to your home within five business days. Special orders or customized items could take anywhere from 6 to 8 weeks or even more, especially during these unprecedented times where for a higher-end fridge one could wait up to a year.
Actual Construction – 2 to 4 weeks
This stage contains the following substages. Demolition, plumbing rough ins and rough carpentry, electrical, insulation, drywall and mudding, flooring installation, painting, cabinets installation, countertop(s) installation, plumbing and electrical fixtures hookups.
